26th April 2008 Windsurfing: Blithfield Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: 15 mph Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: 18 Sea Temperature: Cold Weather: Warm and hazy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Less wind than we were expecting, but nice to be out in a warm wind after the long cold of the winter and spring. Water still cold, but not a problem with such good air temperatures. Some were planing on big sails, but I practised helitacks and light wind stuff - the Alpha really handles nicely for this - then I tried the Supersonic, but this felt heavy in comparison - clearly designed for blasting not freestyle. |
